Merge and split PDFs

Combine multiple PDFs into one, or extract specific pages from a single PDF. All processing happens locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded or stored.

Merge PDFs

Your documents stay private. All processing happens in your browser — files never touch our servers. You can even run this offline after the page loads.

How it works

What this tool does and doesn't do

Local processing

All PDF operations happen in your browser. Your documents never leave your device — nothing is uploaded to any server, ever.

What it does

Merge combines PDFs page-by-page in the order you set. Split extracts pages you specify or creates separate files. The original content is preserved exactly.

What it doesn't do

This tool cannot compress, rotate, OCR, or edit content. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed — you will see a clear error if you try.

Why local PDF processing matters

Documents like contracts, invoices, tax returns, and ID scans often contain sensitive personal or financial data. Uploading them to a server — even briefly — creates a copy you can't control. Browser-based processing keeps them on your device, where you already trust your operating system and local storage. This is especially important for documents that might fall under privacy regulations or contain information you'd never share online.

Merging and splitting preserve the original PDF structure page-by-page rather than re-rendering, so quality and formatting stay intact. This is safe and reversible — you keep the originals and can always redo the split if needed.
